Candle Care
🕯️ Candle Care Guide
To ensure a clean, safe, and even burn, follow these essential recommendations:
Before Lighting
- Wick Trimming: Before each use, trim the wick to about 0.5 cm . This prevents excessively high flames, black smoke, and overheating of the container.
- The Surface: Always place the candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable objects, children, and pets.
During the Burning
- Candle Memory: The first time you light a candle, let it burn until the entire surface is liquid (right to the edges). This prevents the formation of a "tunnel" and ensures you use all the wax to the very end.
- Time Limit: Do not leave the candle burning for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Caution: Never leave a lit candle unattended.
When deleting
- Smothering: Whenever possible, use a candle snuffer or the lid itself to extinguish the flame, instead of blowing on it. This prevents ashes from flying onto the wax.
- Centering: If the wick shifts, gently center it while the wax is still liquid.
- The Final Step: Stop using the candle when only about 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom to prevent the glass from breaking due to excessive heat.
Storage
- Keep your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the fragrance and original color of the wax.
