What's going on in here?
Contrary to what you might think, there's no hand-carving of petals here. My work is a process of precision and care. I work with molds, vegetable waxes (coconut and rapeseed), and hand-picked crystals so that each candle has its own unique energy. It's a work of patience: waiting for the wax to cure, testing the burn, and ensuring that the aroma fills the space just right.

This workshop is a place of focus and creation. It's an environment where every detail is carefully considered—from the perfect wax mixture to the final finish of each piece. It's here, among molds, fragrances, and a lot of dedication, that each candle comes to life. I like to see this space as the "heart" of the brand, where everything is prepared to reach you with the best possible quality.

For me, a business has to have soul. I like to believe that creativity shouldn't be confined within four walls. That's why I make a point of taking my work outside the workshop—like when I went out into the street in Leiria to offer wax flowers with motivational messages to passersby. For me, Oficina da Mimi is about that: the desire to bring positive intentions and a little light to those who cross my path.
